After their 1974. and 1978. journeys this one in 2010. looks to be the best chance for Oranje to finally get a hold of the Earth trophy. After eliminating Brazil last Friday they remain the only team with all five wins and that is in regular time. They look very determined and now entering this Semifinal match on high spirits especially after coming back from behind to beat Brazil. The Dutch will be missing defenders Gregory van der Wiel and Nigel de Jong, but the good and very important news for them is that Van Peries will be fit and ready to go after he picked up the injury.

Uruguay on the other side are the only South American team left in the World Cup after such a promising display from all CONMEBOL teams. But the South American saga would've ended even in the quarterfinals if it wasn't for real luck that followed Urusi throughout the clash with Ghana. But this time they will have to do it without Suarez who is suspended for that handball and Fucile with double yellow.

Even though Uruguay could now look even more defensive with key players missing out, I believe Oranje will find the way to Muslera's net and win this match as expected. Forlan will be lonely up front for Uruguay and the price on Holland winning to nil is more than I expected.

outside of a free kick goal like Forlan got vs Ghana, I too do not really see Uruguay scoring. Hopefully we can get a goal or two early to get them completely out of the game. The supposed best country at the WC, Brazil, only managed the one goal that was no doubt due to the late scratch. Suarez and Forlan scored 6 out of 7 goals for Uruguay - and take away Suarez and let the defense handle Forlan. Looks good to me...

as i've mentioned 20 times now..haha...i have Holland to win the WC and Holland v Spain as the finalist. So that's enough for me so no actual game bet for me.

I see a few guys on that 2-0 scoreline which is perfect for you so 2-0 final. RVP might as well score both too.

I didn't picture that many goals either, it seemed the Dutch kept Uruguay in that game (although I was only able to watch about 15 minutes of it).
